Philanthropists Collaboration: Exploration Tour to New Zealand

From June 18 to 20, 2019, Executive President and CEO Wang Qinhong and Chief Operating Officer Zhang Rui of the East-West Philanthropy Forum Secretariat visited New Zealand for the first time and introduced EWPF and its accomplishment in the past decades to over 20 family foundations, bank foundations, university foundations, philanthropists and representatives of NGOs in New Zealand. New Zealand was found to be unique in its aboriginal culture, integration of humans and nature, community building, refugee relief, climate change and the protection of nature. The East-West Philanthropy Forum discussed the potential for long-term cooperation with New Zealand and reached a consensus on establishing a China-New Zealand Philanthropy Forum in the future.
