On June 15, 2019, the China-Australia Philanthropy Roundtable East-West Philanthropy Forum was successfully held in Melbourne, Australia, co-organized by East-West Philanthropy Forum, Philanthropy Australia and Bridging Hope Foundation. In the conference, Chinese and Australian participants discussed urgent philanthropic topics such as climate change and environment, training in philanthropy and the protection of young people, art philanthropy and cultural protection, medical care and senior care and other potential fields of cooperation. They also reached agreement on the establishment of “China-Australia Philanthropy Forum·East-West Philanthropy Forum” as the long-term exchange and cooperation mechanism for philanthropic collaboration among China, the US and Australia.
